Congolese based brand, Zapenda hired The Social Publicist for content creation, public relations and brand management. Our strategy focused on building brand awareness and positioning the brand as an a thought leader in the fashion and sustainability sector. Their african-inspired fashion and an economic pipeline to provide employment to disenfranchised survivors of the Congolese war caught the eye of supply-chain leaders and fashion-goers alike. We gave founders Stella Safari and Dextina a platform to talk about the signifcance of their brand’s mission as well as the products they produce that resulted in press clips and features in HOUR Magazine, Missing Perspectives, The Detroit Free Press, and Fox 2 News to name a few.
